Asked Questions

a question to Gavin
What
is the worship like
at Flint Hill?
Worship at Flint Hill is first and foremost biblical.
Every song we sing in our worship services is grounded in
Scripture. Also, we try to make our worship relevant
to the make-up of our congregation. We are intentional
about meeting the needs of the people that make up our
church. With that as our guide, the result is a
mixture of worship styles.
We sing everything
from hymns and
southern gospel to
contemporary
songs, modern
worship songs, and urban
gospel. We are also increasingly incorporating drama
and video into our corporate worship.
How
often does the choir
rehearse?
The adult choir
rehearses Sundays
from 5 – 7p.m.
However, we only
rehearse on the
Sundays when there
is no Family
Enrichment. Family
Enrichment occurs
twice a month on
Sunday evenings and
is designed for
church members to
spend time with
their families.
Contact the church
office for specific
dates.
There are usually
extra rehearsals
when preparing for
the Easter and
Christmas musicals.
What
do I have to do to
join the choir?
Anyone who is a
believer and has the
desire to sing may
join the choir. You
do not have to be a
church member to
join the choir.
Fourteen years old
is the cut-off age
for joining the
choir.
