Gavin Brown, worship leader

Gavin is 28 years old and has been married to his wife Lori for three years.  They have a five year old daughter named Savannah and a 9 month old son named Isaiah.  Gavin grew up in the Bessemer area and attended McAdory High School until his graduation in 1996.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in musical composition from the University of Mobile in May 2002 and has been the worship leader at Flint Hill since he graduated. He is beggining work on an MDiv at Beeson Divinity School this winter. 

            About the worship ministry

There is only one thing we do on earth that we will continue to do in heaven: worship.  In light of that, we at Flint Hill take very seriously the charge to “…worship in Spirit and truth.”  With Jesus Christ and His Holy Word as the center of our focus, we seek to glorify God not only in song, but with our entire lives.  Our hope is that the Body of Christ will be encouraged and edified through biblically regulated worship that will result in the magnification of Jesus Christ and obedience to God’s Word.
