Gavin Brown, worship leader

Gavin is 27 years old and has been married to his wife Lori for two years.  They have a daughter named Savannah and a son named Isaiah who is due to be born in October.  Gavin grew up in the Bessemer area and attended McAdory High School until his graduation in 1996.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in musical composition from the University of Mobile in May 2002 and has been the worship leader at Flint Hill since he graduated. 

            About the worship ministry

There is only one thing we do on earth that we will continue to do in heaven: worship.  In light of that, we at Flint Hill take very seriously the charge to “…worship in Spirit and truth.”  With Jesus Christ and His Holy Word as the center of our focus, we seek to glorify God not only in song, but with our entire lives.  Our hope is that the Body of Christ will be encouraged and uplifted through biblical, Spirit-filled, vibrant worship that will result in a lifestyle of worship and obedience to God’s Word.
