THE GREEN RIBBON

On Monday 12/06/04, The students at Tuscaloosa Christian School began wearing a green ribbon on their clothing to remind each other to pray for Andrea.  The color green was chosen because she was such a dedicated soldier in the National Guard.  Little did they know that the color green was chosen by the Brain Injury Association of America to represent brain injury.  My younger daughters took the idea to Flint Hill Christian School and several adults have also taken on the reminder. It also causes people to ask what it is for and gives them an opportunity to spread the prayer request. Thank you for wearing this burden on behalf of Andrea. It means more than words can express to my wife and I.

We have received emails from students in other schools and other parts of the country saying that they too are wearing the green ribbon as a reminder to pray for Andrea.  Thank you for caring so much and thank you for praying!!!

The green wrist band represents brain injury. If you are interested in helping to draw attention to the need to pray for Andrea you can order some of these bands and give them out to people who will pray. You can order bands online at http://www.biausa.org/Pages/home.html.
